Lasantha is an experienced Chartered Valuation Surveyor having gained extensive knowledge from a successful career spanning over 20 years within a variety of roles in Public and Private Sector. A strong member of the team who specializes in Property Valuation and Portfolio Management. He brings high levels of expertise, astute commercial awareness and a strong understanding of all areas of property valuation and management.
He joined Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka, the main public sector institution for planning, development and management of built environment. Having been there for 06 years, he then joined Ceylinco Leasing Corporation Ltd in 2003 and served as Manager – Properties for a term of 05 years.
Thereafter, he moved to Kanrich Finance Ltd and held positions of Manager – Properties and Senior Manager – Operations during his term of 05 years. Upon completion of RICS academic, he then joined one of the leading valuation firm as Assistant Chartered Valuation Surveyor. During his tenure he exposed to all aspects of Property, Plant & Machinery valuations required for different purposes.
With extensive experience in Valuation and Property Portfolio Management, he joined Dilmah Ceylon Tea PLC and served as Head of Property for the MJF Group. In the mean time he achieved Chartered Valuation Surveyor status awarded by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK in 2016.
Then having registered as Panel Valuer with Licensed Banks and Finance Companies, he started his own practice offering Valuation and Advisory Services including private and public sector cooperates and general public as well.
